For adults: Afikim is partnering with Jewish Interactive Studies (JIS) to offer online courses in Torah learning. A lecture series made available online for participants to read or download, topics will cover exploration of
Torah wisdom, mitzvot and narratives, as well as lectures on the Bible. Participants will have the option to correspond with the teaching staff on course-related material and will receive personalized responses.

For children: kwizwiz is a newly launched online, educational quiz website, complete with prizes, levels
of learning, and ongoing reasons for children’s visiting and revisiting the site. There’s a natural and healthy competitive aspect that will come into play among friends so expect kwizwiz to bring youngsters together – which is a good and unusual wrinkle for computerized.

Using thoroughly modern media to reach thoroughly modern youngsters with thoroughly traditional education, is proving extremely successful. Thanks to Afikim‘s creative development, sponsorship and support of the Israeli four-hour Cinema City film program, Zeihut: Values, more than 3,000 students a month are
getting dramatic and evocative lessons in honesty, chesed, giving others the benefit of the doubt, Jerusalem’s central, enduring importance and many other subjects. We are hard at work on producing an English version of our Values presentation soon to be offered to communities around the world.
